Biography
Sofia Figueiredo is a Ph.D. student in Information Science and Technology at ISCTE-IUL and a researcher at the Institute of Telecommunications, where she is part of the Radio Systems and Organic Electronics research groups. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in telecommunications and computer engineering from ISCTE-IUL. Her research focuses on emerging communication technologies, particularly nanonetworks, molecular communications, and the Internet of Bio-Nano Things, while also encompassing areas such as MIMO systems, signal processing, machine learning, electronics, and embedded systems.
