Biography
Hossein Amininasab is a Doctoral Researcher at Tampere University in Finland. He is currently a Visiting Ph.D. Candidate and Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University. His research focuses on sub-THz channel modeling for indoor scenarios, particularly studying human blockage effects when Bessel beams are utilized to enhance the reliability of next-generation wireless networks, theoretically and experimentally. His work aims to improve the performance and robustness of wireless communication systems in challenging environments. His research interests span sub-THz communication, metamaterials, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, holographic MIMO communications, analog computing, microwave circuit design, and electromagnetic and acoustic systems modeling.
