Biography
Sherif Badran is a Ph.D. Candidate and Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University. He received the B.S. degree in electrical, electronics and communications engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2021, and the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, United States, in 2023, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering under the guidance of Dr. Josep Miquel Jornet in the Ultrabroadband Nanonetworking Laboratory. His current research interests include digital and statistical signal processing for terahertz communications, experimentation and characterization of terahertz wireless systems, and coding theory.
