Since joining UB in 2013, Josep Jornet, PhD, has established a world-class research program at the intersection of nanotechnologies and wireless communications. His pioneering work in the field of nano0device technologies and communication techniques for nanonetworks in the Terahertz spectrum has resulted in 3 patents. Supported by more than $6.3 million in federal grants as principal or co-principal investigator, he has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and one book, garnering more than 5,000 citations and an h-index of 31.
