Dr. Jornet receives the UB School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Early Career Researcher of the Year Award, for “seminal, and high-impact, contributions to the development of novel communication networks, including terahertz-band communication systems, implantable and wearable medical-device technology, and the internet of things,” on December 11, 2017.
